Police have identified a man following reports of metal thefts in rural Perth and Kinross.
The force received numerous complaints from residents in the Kinross area about a “man in a van” acting suspiciously in April of this year.
On Friday, police confirmed a man had been identified following a “thorough” investigation.
He has been reported to the procurator fiscal for theft.
Police Scotland for Perth and Kinross said on X, formerly known as Twitter: “In April, Police Scotland received complaints of a male in a van acting suspiciously at various rural locations around the Kinross area.
“After a thorough investigation, we are pleased to report that the male has been identified and reported to the Procurator Fiscal for theft”.
