Man pronounced dead in home after emergency services called

A man has been pronounced dead after emergency services were called to a home in Aberdeen.

Police and ambulance crews were alerted to a man who had taken ill at a property in the Cummings Park Area of the city at around 8.50am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing, however, detectives do not believe it is suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.50am on Thursday, October 16, 2025, we received a report of a man having taken unwell in the Cummings Park Road area of Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Enquiries are ongoing, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
