A man has been left with serious facial injuries after a violent bike theft in Aberdeen on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the Shiprow area of the city at around 2.45am after a 46-year-old man was found seriously injured.
The 46-year-old had his Elops bike stolen from him during the attack
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Detective Constable Barry Peden said: “Despite the time of night, we believe there were people in the area around the time of this incident.
“I am appealing for anyone with any information to please come forward.”
