A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an electric motorcycle rider was injured in a crash in Aberdeen.
Police were called to a report of a crash involving a car and an electric motorcycle on Cattofield Place around 9pm on Saturday.
Emergency services attended and a 22-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where his condition is described as critical but stable.
Sinem Aktas was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
The 28-year-old appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder and dangerous driving.
He made no plea and was released on bail.
