Google MapsA man has been found dead following a multi-agency operation on Aberdeen’s coastline.
The alarm was raised regarding a concern for a person near Coast Road just before 6.40am on Wednesday morning.
The Coastguard sent rescue teams from Stonehaven, Cruden Bay and Aberdeen to the area. Two of the city’s RNLI lifeboats also attended.
The Scottish Ambulance Service, Police Scotland, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue also joined the operation,
Police Scotland has confirmed that the body of a man was found.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.40am on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, we received a report of concern for a person near Coast Road in Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and the body of a man was recovered.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
