A man has died following a two-car crash in Perthshire on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Blairgowrie’s Brown Street at around 1.55pm after collision between Green Citroen C4 and a white Kia Ceed.
The driver of the Citroen, a 79-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Kia sustained no injuries.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
Sergeant Iain Macnamara, Road Policing North, said “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died in this crash.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what occurred and I am appealing to anyone who has information to come forward. If anyone saw the Green Citroen C4 in the area around the time of the collision, please contact us.”
