A man has been charged in connection with rape in Dundee.
The 31-year-old was arrested following reports of an incident in the Downfield area of the city on Saturday, August 26.
Police carried out an initial probe hours after the alleged offence.
The man is due to appear in court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a report of a serious sexual assault in the Downfield area of Dundee on the morning of Saturday, August 26.
“He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 29.”
