A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an alleged off-road bike hit-and-run in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to Garthdee Drive at around 4.45pm on Saturday following a crash involving the vehicle and a female pedestrian.
The 29-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The motorcycle left the area following the crash.
Brian Noble, from Aberdeen, has appeared in court following the incident.
The 43-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, driving while disqualified, driving while uninsured and possession of controlled drugs.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Noble is due to make his second court appearance within the next eight days.
