iStockA man has been charged with attempted murder after a baby fell unwell at a property in Perth.
Emergency services were called to a home on Rannoch Road around 5.40pm on April 29 following reports of a baby boy having taken unwell.
The ten-month-old was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed a 37-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.
James Hutchison appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday, charged with assault to severe injury and attempted murder.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He will next appear in court within eight days.
