A man has been charged with attempted murder after armed police were called to a property in Dundee.
Firearms officers were called to an address on Earlston Avenue around 12.10pm on March 14, following reports of concern for a person.
A firearm was discharged by police during the incident and the circumstances have been referred to the Police Investigation and Review Commissioner.
A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital for assessment.
Police Scotland confirmed a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder.
He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on April, 1.
