A teenager is among two people arrested after a man was attacked outside a medical centre in Moray.
Police were called to the Grantown Road area of the town, outside Forres Health and Care Centre, after a 54-year-old man was attacked at around 2.50pm on Saturday.
He was subsequently taken into the medical centre for treatment.
Officers confirmed that two men, aged 18 and 36, were arrested and charged following the incident.
They are expected to appear at court on Monday.
A police spokesperson said: “Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance and serious assault in the Grantown Road area of Forres.
“The incident took place around 2.50pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The 54-year-old male victim was treated at the nearby medical centre following the incident.
“The two men – aged 18 and 36 – are expected to appear at court on Monday, April 24, 2023.”
