Man arrested in connection with disturbance on street

A man has been arrested following a disturbance on a street on Friday.

Emergency services were called to Aberdeen’s Lang Stracht at around 2.20pm after reports of an incident.

Officers arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the disturbance.

There is not believed to be a risk to the wider public, however, an investigation is still ongoing

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.20pm on Friday, 27 December, 2024, we were called to a report of a 44-year-old man causing a disturbance in the Lang Stracht area of Aberdeen.

“Officers attended and he was arrested in connection with the incident. 

“There is no risk to the wider public and enquiries are ongoing.”
