iStockA man has been arrested and charged after a woman was assaulted in her car in Fife.
The incident took place around 2pm on Wednesday, June 3 on Pitlessie Road, between Ladybank and Pitlessie, when a 41-year-old woman was assaulted within her vehicle.
It is alleged that the driver was signalled to stop by a man who appeared injured on the road.
After stopping the car, she was subsequently assaulted by the man before she drove off.
The 64-year-old man was due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday, July 3.
