A man has been arrested after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Angus.
Emergency services were called to Roods in Kirriemuir. after a crash at around 5pm on Friday.
A 75-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was arrested and charged in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Friday, November 29, 2024, we were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Roods in Kirriemuir.
“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 75-year-old man, was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
“A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
