iStockA man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman who was found injured in a home in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the property on Bedford Road at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening.
A 54-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Tuesday, Joseph Greer appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with one count of murder and one count of breach of bail.
The 39-year-old Aberdonian made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is due to make his second appearance within the next eight days.
