A man has appeared in court following a major police response at a property in Angus.
Drumsturdy Road, which leads into the village of Kingennie, was closed by police for around ten hours following an incident on Wednesday morning.
Police Scotland said officers attended a property in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Stewart Carson appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court on Thursday, charged with culpable and reckless conduct and a breach of bail conditions.
The 50-year-old from Angus made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is due to appear in court again within eight days.
