Two people have been charged with an alleged weapon attack that left a man injured.
A 20-year old man and an 18-year old woman were arrested in connection with the serious assault that took place outside an Aldi supermarket in Elgin on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Trinity Place and an injured man was taken to hospital where he was treated for wounds to his legs and body.
Police say a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
The accused are expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.
