A man and a woman have been charged following the seizure of thousands of pounds worth of cannabis in a police raid in Perthshire.
Officers executed a search warrant at a property in Dunkeld Place, Blairgowrie, on Saturday.
As well as the £3000 drugs haul, £1400 in cash was also recovered.
Police said a man and a woman, both 27, have been charged in connection with the discovery and are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court at a later date.
Sergeant Scott Carswell said: “This seizure was an intelligence-led operation and sends out a clear message to those involved in such behaviour that we will not tolerate it within our communities.
“We are committed to building our intelligence on drug-related issues and I would urge anyone with information about such activities to report what they know to the police – no matter how small they think it is. It may be the final piece we need to complete a bigger picture.”
