Two people have been arrested after a quad bike was seized by police in Dundee.

Officers from Police Scotland attended the city’s Dunmure Street at around 2pm on Tuesday after a quad bike was seen being used in Camperdown Park and several streets in Kirkton.

It is claimed the bike was being driven dangerously without care or consideration for other road users and pedestrians.

The 21-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and have both been charged with various offences relating to the incident.

Two other men, aged 34 and 17-years-old, were also reported to the procurator fiscal for road traffic offences.

A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed the incident and said: “If you have any information about illegal or anti-social use of motorbikes, off-road bikes and mopeds, please contact us via 101.”
