A second man and woman have appeared in court charged with the murder of Steven Hutton in Dundee.

The 43-year-old was found seriously injured at a property on Charleston Road on March 30.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital where he passed away on March 31.

On Thursday, Carrie Jane Stewart and Brian Millar appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court charged with murder.

The 42-year-old woman and 27-year-old man from Dundee made no plea and were both remanded in custody pending further examination.

They are both due to appear in court again within the next eight days.

Earlier this week, Barry Murray appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court in connection with Mr Hutton’s death.

The 43-year-old from Dundee faced a charged of murder. He made no plea and was remanded in custody pending further examination.

A 39-year-old man also appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday in connection with the death.
