Google MapsA man is fighting for his life in hospital following a crash outside a car showroom near Inverurie.
Police were called to the two-vehicle crash outside Lawrence of Kemnay on Elphinstone Road around 1.25pm on Tuesday.
A 66-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment, where his condition is described as critical.
No one else was injured in the incident.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the Elphinstone Road area near Inverurie.
“A 66-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment, where his condition is described as critical. Nobody else required medical treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
