A 33-year-old man has been arrested after police discovered a cannabis cultivation worth almost £550,000 in Dundee.
At around 9am on Monday, officers raided two properties on Watson Street and found two farms worth an estimated £549,000.
The man, 33, was subsequently arrested and charged with drug offences, and was due at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Detective Sergeant David Feeney said: “These are significant recoveries and demonstrate our continued commitment to removing illegal drugs from our communities.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the cultivation, supply and sale of illegal substances.”
Police Scotland asked anyone with useful information regarding drugs in their communities to contact them via 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
