Man, 29, found dead in flat as police investigate 'unexplained' death

An investigation has been launched after the unexplained death of a man in a Dundee flat.

Emergency services were called to the property on Hilltown Terrace at around 11pm on Monday after reports of the death of a 29-year-old man.

Detectives are treating the incident as unexplained, but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11pm on Monday, September 15, 2025, we received a report of the death of a 29-year-old man at a property on Hilltown Terrace, Dundee.

“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
