A man has been charged in connection with indecent exposure at a shopping centre in Aberdeen.

The incident is said to have occurred at Dyce shopping centre on Riverview Drive on April 10.

Police confirmed a 29-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday in connection with the incident.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce said: “We take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and they can understandably cause a great deal of concern in the local community.

“We hope this outcome provides reassurance to members of the public and would encourage anyone with concerns to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
