A lorry driver has been charged after his vehicle crashed off a motorway flyover near Perth four months ago.
Emergency services attended the M90 slip road, heading southbound from Broxden towards Edinburgh, after a white Volvo HGV fell off the motorway bridge and onto the A912 below on Tuesday, May 7.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours.
The lorry driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital in “critical” condition.
Police have confirmed a man, 39, has now been charged in connection with the crash.
A spokesperson said: “A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with a one-vehicle crash on the M90 flyover at Craigend, Perth.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
