A large wooded area in Aberdeen was cordoned off after a man’s body was found on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Sheddocksley Woods near the city’s Lewis Road at around 2.35pm on Sunday.
Uniformed officers were pictured standing guard at a dirt path leading through the area and a significant portion of the woodland was cordoned off.
The body of a man, 64, was found within the area. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35pm on Sunday, April 12, we were called to the Sheddocksley Wood area, near Barvas Walk, in Aberdeen following the death of a 64-year-old man.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
