A pod of killer whales have been spotted leaping into the air off the coast of Aberdeen.
Aberdeen Harbour Tours shared footage on social media of the whales leaping out of the water last Tuesday.
The footage was shared with the company by Craig Palmer who was heading out to work on a windfarm near by when he captured it.
This was the first time Mr Palmer had seen the animals in the UK, calling it an “unbelievable experience”.
The video has gone on to garner thousands of views and comments.

Followers were quick to share their excitement over the spotting, with one commenting: “Oh I love this! Happy and swimming free just like nature intended.”
Another commented: “Beautiful animals.. what a privilege to have seen them.”
It comes after an Orca was spotted off the Northumberland coast in England, last week.
A fisherman captured footage of the killer whale swimming up to their boat and spraying water out of it’s blowhole, on April 21, near to Beadnell.
