A Jet2 flight from Alicante to Glasgow was granted priority landing after declaring a mid-air medical emergency.
Flight LS178 issued a Squawk 7700 code over the Irish Sea as it approached its final destination in Scotland at around 1.40pm on Saturday.
The airline has confirmed that the alarm was issued due to a passenger in need of medical attention onboard.
The crew followed procedure and requested a priority landing at Glasgow Airport.
A Jet2 spokesperson said: “Our crew followed procedure and requested a priority landing due to a customer requiring medical attention.”
