An investigation has been launched after a property was “deliberately” set on fire in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze at a domestic property on Park Street at around 6.40pm on Tuesday.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched three fire engines to the scene.
There were no reported casualties and crews extinguished the fire before making the area safe.
Police said the fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are “ongoing”.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.40pm on Tuesday, April 29, to reports of a fire affecting a domestic property on Park Street in Aberdeen.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the area, and the fire was extinguished.
“There were no reported casualties, and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.45pm on Tuesday, April 30, we were made aware of a fire at an empty property on Park Street in Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and the fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There were no injuries.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
