Image of man released after women seriously injured in 'deliberate' Dundee house fire

Police have released an image of a man in connection with a deliberate fire at a house in Dundee.

Two women, aged 22 and 28, were seriously injured after police were called to the fire at a property on Watson Street around 1.40am on Sunday, July 27.

A number of nearby properties were evacuated as a result of the wilful blaze.

The male in the picture is described as wearing dark clothing, a dark face covering and black Adidas trainers with white stripes.

Detective constable Gavin Ogilvie said: “We are asking the male pictured or anyone in the area at the time who may have seen anything before or after the incident to get in touch.”
