Hunt launched for two men after quad bike stolen

Police are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen in Coupar Angus.

The incident is believed to have happened at around 5.50pm on Thursday, August 6, at a farm on the C440 road between Collace and Pitcur.

Two men were captured on CCTV stealing a black BRP quad bike from a gateway leading to a field.

The first man is described as slim build and wearing a face covering and light-coloured shorts and a t-shirt.

The second man is described as being of large build with dark hair and wearing a grey t-shirt and black shorts.

They made off in a black Volkswagen Arteon and headed in the direction of Collace.

Constable Sean Cottrell said: “Enquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone with any information that may assist our investigation to contact us through 101 quoting incident number 3436 of 6 August, 2026.”
