Hunt for suspect after man, 21, seriously injured in stabbing

Police are hunting for a suspect after a man was stabbed on a street in Perth.

Officers were called to the Kinnoull Street area around 10.45pm on Saturday following reports of an assault.

Emergency services attended, and a 21-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with a serious injury.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing to trace the person responsible.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.45pm on Saturday, 23 May, we received a report of an assault in the Kinnoull Street area of Perth.

“Emergency services attended, and a 21-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with a serious injury.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
