Public told to call 999 if they see criminal on run from prison

The public has been warned not to approach a man on the run from jail and immediately call 999 if they see him.

Patrick Harty, 19, is from the Cottingley Springs area of Leeds, and is said to have links to Aberdeen, Barnsley, Doncaster and Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police is appealing for information on the whereabouts of Harty who is wanted on recall to prison.

Extensive enquiries have been made to locate Harty.

Police say any sightings should be reported immediately on 999 citing the crime reference 13240486502.

Information can be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
