Police investigating two incidents of indecent exposure that took place in a secluded patch of woodland in Luncarty.

Police are hunting for a man who flashed at an 80-year-old woman in a Perthshire village.

The incident happened on a secluded patch of woodland in Luncarty, along a path that is accessed from Scarth Road, Tayview and Hatton Road at around 2.40pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Less than an hour earlier, a man exposed himself to a woman in her 40s in almost exactly the same place.

Police believe the indecent exposures are linked and the same person is believed to be responsible for both incidents.

The suspect is described as being in his early 30s, slim build with a tanned complexion, short dark hair and facial hair, and was wearing a grey long sleeved top.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “These were very upsetting incidents for the victims. Extensive enquiries are currently being made in the surrounding area.If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.

“Also, information can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is incident 1762 of 11th May.”
