Police are hunting a group of youths who assaulted and robbed a man in Kemnay.
The 42-year-old was walking on Aquithie Road around 7.35pm on Friday when he was approached by a group of around six male youths and assaulted.
A three-figure sum of money was also taken from him.
Police were called to the scene and investigations are ongoing to trace those responsible.
The injured man did not require hospital treatment.
Enquiries so far have found that the area was busy around the time of the attack and officers are urging any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Richard Cooper said: “We know the area was quite busy around the time of this attack and I would urge anyone with information or footage including any drivers with dash-cam, to please contact us.
