Police say specialist resources, including a helicopter and dogs, have joined the search to trace a man missing from Lossiemouth.

Officers are asking the public to check sheds and outbuildings amid an ongoing search for missing man John Geddes.

The 33-year-old was last seen in the Coulardhill area around 10.30pm on Monday, November 11.

He is described as being around 5ft 8in in height, of slim build with short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a khaki green fleece, black trousers with reflective orange strips and blue Adidas trainers.

Inspector Keith Greg said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for John’s welfare and we need to make sure he is safe and well.

“We have significant resources dedicated to this enquiry and are asking people to check private CCTV footage, including doorbell and dash cam in the Lossiemouth area.

“I am also asking anyone living, walking or driving in the area to keep a look out for John.

“Please check sheds, outhouses, hedges and wooded areas in case he has sought shelter.

“If anyone has seen John or knows where he might be then please call us on 101, quoting reference number 0113 of Tuesday, November 12, 2024.”
