Heavy rain is to batter parts of the north east of Scotland as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning.
The alert, which comes into force at midday on Wednesday, covers much of Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Angus and Dundee.
Forecasters say rainfall may lead to flooding and travel disruption in some parts, lasting until 9pm.
Between 15 and 30 mm of rain is likely to fall quite widely, with a small chance of a few spots seeing as much as 50 to 80 mm rain, most likely near the coast.

The Met Office said there is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses.

Drivers are being warned spray and flooding could lead to difficult conditions on the roads and potential closures.
