'Growing concern' for welfare of 'missing' 74-year-old

‘Growing concern’ for welfare of ‘missing’ 74-year-old from Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire Police Scotland

Concern is growing for a 74-year-old man reported missing from a town in Aberdeenshire.

William Shakle was last seen at around 9pm on Saturday in the Gallohill Terrace area of Fraserburgh.

He is described as having a medium build and around 5ft 3ins.

William is now clean-shaven and has balding, grey hair.

He was last seen wearing black trousers, a black jumper and trainers.

Police Scotland said he sometimes wears glasses.

Inspector Nicholas Searle said: “Concerns are growing for William’s welfare.

“He can get confused and it is important we find him as soon as possible to make sure he is safe and well.

“I am asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to please get in touch with us.”

Anyone who can help should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1597 of Sunday, August 20.
