Scottish TikTok comedian Paul Black is gearing up to bring his 2023 tour to Aberdeen this March.

With over half a billion views on his online sketches and a huge social media following, Black is widely hailed as one of Scotland’s most exciting new comedy talents.

Following on from his sold-out debut at last year’s Fringe, he is now preparing to set off on his first-ever UK and Ireland tour named Nostalgia.

After two sold-out dates at Glasgow’s Kings Theatre, he will play Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Saturday, May 27.

Black rose to fame over the pandemic on Instagram and TikTok, with videos based on typical and relatable Glaswegian antics.

A well-known face on Twitter and Tiktok thanks to his viral sketches, his work has caught the attention of the likes of Limmy and Frankie Boyle.

One of his most famous clips sees of him portraying an American tourist in Glasgow mispronouncing the names of popular landmarks.

Doug Taylor, of promoters Mint of Montrose, said: “We are absolutely buzzing to be bringing Paul Black to the Music Hall as part of his tour.

“The chance to catch him live in Aberdeen is an absolute must for Paul’s many north-east social media fans.

“If his past shows are anything to go by, we expect demand to be huge so we’d urge Aberdeen’s comedy fans to grab their tickets fast.”

Tickets will go on sale on February 3 at 10am on the Aberdeen Performing Arts website.
