Firefighters battled a blaze at a secondary school in Moray, with damage to be assessed over the weekend.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent six appliances, including specialist resources, to Keith Grammar School after being called after 7pm on Friday.
Crews extinguished the fire at the school and left the scene after 10.20pm. There were no reported casualties.
Moray Council said initial investigations suggest the fire was not deliberate, with the extent of damage to be assessed this weekend.
A statement read: “Work will be ongoing over the weekend to determine the damage caused and ensure the safety of the building. Arrangements for pupils for next week will be shared with parents and carers as soon as possible.
“Keith Sports and Community Centre will have a slightly delayed opening at 10am on Saturday.
“Thank you to those who raised the alarm and to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for attending, getting the fire under control and making the building safe so quickly.”
