Firefighters are battling a blaze at an abandoned paper mill in Aberdeen, four years after the site closed having collapsed into administration.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the abandoned Stoneywood Mill in Bucksburn at around 5.30pm on Sunday.
Four fire engines, a height appliance and other resources were dispatched to the scene, and crews remain on site as of 8pm.
Firefighters dealt with a “well-developed” blaze in the now derelict papermill. There were no reported casualties and the fire was extinguished shortly before 6.30pm.
Police Scotland urged members of the public to avoid the area and for residents nearby to stay indoors and keep doors and windows closed.
