The family of a man pronounced dead following a motorbike crash in Aberdeenshire said he died “doing what he loved”.

Graeme Noble from Arbroath was involved in a single motorbike crash on the B966 Fettercairn to Edzell road at Cairnton of Balbegno around 6.10pm on June 21.

The 59-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.

In a statement released through Police Scotland, Mr Noble’s family described him as a “loving husband, amazing dad to his daughter and a great friend”.

“He had been a lover of motorbikes since a young boy and was lucky enough to die doing what he loved”, they added.

Police are continuing their investigations into the crash and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

Sergeant Dave Cooper said: “Our thoughts are with Graeme’s family and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

“We continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened or have dash-cam footage that could help.”
