Tributes have been paid to a “devoted” mum-of-two who died in an early-morning crash in Fife.
Aisha Kempson from Cardenden died after she was involved in a collision around 1am on Sunday on the A92 near the Luthrie Junction.
The crash involved a white Audi A3, a grey Volvo V40 and a white Honda HRV.
The 24-year-old was the passenger in the Audi, and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was taken to hospital in Dundee.
In a tribute released through police, Aisha’s mum praised her daughter’s devotion to her two children.
She said: “Aisha was my beautiful daughter, a much-loved sister and a devoted mummy to her two beautiful children.
“She had a heart of gold and was fiercely loyal to everyone she loved. She was loved by so many and will be missed more than words can ever express.
“We are heartbroken by her loss and would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.”
Following the incident, a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the crash and has now been charged.
He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday.
Inspector Adam Scott said: “Our thoughts remain with Aisha’s loved ones and everyone affected by this fatal crash.
“Police inquiries into the crash happened at the scene and have continued since the incident. I’d like to thank those who have assisted with our investigation.”
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
