Emergency services were called to tackle a late night flat fire in Peterhead on Friday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the blaze at a two-storey building on Forrest Place at around 8.41pm.
Two engines were initially sent to battle the flames, however, another appliance was dispatched to assist with the operation.
Fire crews left the scene after making it safe at around 9.44pm. A video of the incident shows a large number of police vehicles and ambulance services also in attendance.
One person has been taken to hospital following the incident.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 9pm on Sunday, March 22, to attend an incident on Forrest Place, Peterhead. We dispatched an ambulance to the scene, and we transported one patient to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
