One person has been treated by medics after a blaze broke out at a home in Fife on Thursday morning.
Fire and ambulance crews were dispatched to Alison Street in Kirkcaldy after reports of a dwelling fire at around 7.33am.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two appliances to the scene. The blaze was extinguished and the area made safe.
One person was treated at the scene, however, they did not require transportation to hospital.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.33am on Thursday November 14 to reports of a dwelling fire at Alison Street, Kirkcaldy.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a property.
“One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 7.51am to attend an incident on Alison Street, Kirkcaldy. We dispatched two ambulances to the scene.”
