Emergency services attend incident at university student halls

Emergency services are in attendance at an incident at a block of Aberdeen University student halls.

Police and ambulance crews are at a block of flats on New Carnegie Court near Don Street.

The building, located in the Hillhead Student Village, houses new undergraduate and foreign exchange students.

The nature of the incident is not yet known.

The University of Aberdeen has confirmed that they are working closely with emergency services.

A University of Aberdeen spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident on campus and are working closely with the emergency services as they manage the situation.”
