An elderly woman is in hospital after she was hit by a car on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian on Brook Street in Broughty Ferry shortly after 4.40pm.
Officers confirmed that an 81-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Her condition is not currently known.

A police cordon was put up while officers carried out enquiries and the road was closed following the incident.
It is understood that the road has now reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Brook Street, Broughty Ferry around 4.40pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
“An 81-year-old woman has been taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital.
“The road is currently closed while enquiries are carried out.”
