An elderly woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a van in a car park in Fraserburgh.

The 86-year-old was in the car park near Albert Street around 12pm on Thursday when she was knocked down.

The woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment where her condition is currently unknown.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Sergeant Dave Cooper said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage to come forward.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1348 of October 30, 2025.”
