Drugs worth £12,000 recovered from property as three people charged

Three people were charged after drugs worth £12,000 were seized in Aberdeen.

Officers recovered crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis from a property in Kintore Place on Wednesday September 13 along with a three-figure sum of cash.

Two men, aged 22 and 20, and a woman, 39, were arrested and charged in connection. 

They were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, September 14.

Detective Sergeant Erika Griffiths said: “Disrupting the trade in controlled drugs is a key focus for us and we rely on information from the public to help us tackle this kind of illegal activity.

“Anyone with concerns or information on drug misuse and associated criminality should report this to officers via 101 or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
