Driver fighting for life after crash on A933 near Brechin as police in appeal for witnesses Google Maps

A teenager has been left in critical condition following a crash on the A933 in Angus.

Emergency crews were called to reports of a collision, which involved a black BMW 120d, near Brechin at around 3.15pm on May 28.

The 19-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

The road was closed for around one hour and 50 minutes and re-opened around 5.05pm.

Police are asking drivers in the area to check their dashcam footage and to come forward if they witnessed the incident.

Sergeant David Farr said: “We are appealing for anyone with information that could assist with our crash investigation to get in touch.

“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage or were in the area and may have witnessed this incident, then please contact us.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2310 of May 28.
